GHK-Cu research education entry

Copper-binding tripeptide that stimulates collagen, reverses skin aging, and promotes hair growth.

About this page

GHK-Cu (Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine Copper) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. It was first isolated from human plasma in 1973 and has since been shown to have remarkable regenerative properties for skin, hair, and wound healing. GHK-Cu levels decline significantly with age, correlating with the visible signs of skin aging.
